The Essential Fatty Acids: Omega 6 + 3

In general, we consume too much omega-6 in our diets, and not enough omega-3, but, the truth is, we need both linoleic acid and linolenic acid for optimal health and for the development of our body's inflammatory response. Creating a balanced ratio, and ensuring the oils remain in their pure state is key.

    I really trust this omega oil product. It seems fresh to me. The golden capsules are clear and look fresh. I have not gotten any aftertaste or even a hint of being rancid. I feel really good recently. I was dealing with being obese and unhealthy. I struggled to walk a short distance due to arthritis in my knees, alongside inflammation, being winded. I had to retire a couple of years earlier than planned (28 years of driving for FedEx) because I couldn't do the 80 to 100 stops a day anymore. Also I am a 12 year military veteran so I had been pretty healthy into my mid 40's but frequent alcohol consumption and a very poor diet and tons of stress caught up to me in my early 60's. I got up to 330 lbs. I recently started taking BodyBio PC, Tudca, Balance oil, Butyrate, e-lyte and ReMineralize alongside Hallelujah Acres BarleyMax and Beetmax and some beef liver and organs from Ancestral. I combined this with a carnivore diet and I recently feel better than I have in many decades. I don't know what is working and what is not because I started the Bodybio products around the same time. But what I do know is that I was taking pretty expensive Thorne products before I switched to Bodybio. and I didn't really feel much better. Thorne omega oil (expensive) caused me to get the fish aftertaste and I always thought it was rancid before I even received it or went rancid shortly after. I am not taking a swing at that company. Unfortunately, most Omega 6 sources are now limited in the USA due to the introduction of hybrid oils that are high oleic. Ours is naturally high linoleic. The most concentrated source of linoleic acid is in whole organic raw seeds like sunflower, chia and pumpkin seeds. Omega 6 fatty acids evolve into Prostaglandin 1 series (from linoleic to gamma linolenic to dihomogammalinoleic into PG1, a powerful anti-inflammatory Prostaglandin) and Arachidonic into PG2 which overall turns on responses and is one kind of inflammatory response. Arachidonic acid is an essential fatty acid. We must consume it, we cannot synthesize it.

Dramatic heat will destroy the double bonds of the lipids, which makes them rancid, so it is best to add after cooking.
