How the Cell Detox Protocol Works

Here’s something all the detox pathways have in common: cells. Our cell detox protocol is a four-step process: rebuild the cell, open the exits, protect the gut, and replenish nutrients—and watch the body rebalance on its own.

Start by Rebuilding Cell Membranes

The cell membrane is often called “the brain of the cell.” It’s the command center that brings nutrients in, flushes toxins out, and keeps the cells talking to each other. These foundations make detox easy for the body to do without outside help.

Since phospholipids are major structural components of cell membranes, we start by supplying the body with phospholipids that can support membrane structure and function. Healthy cell membranes help regulate what enters and leaves the cell, including nutrients and metabolic waste. Now that we’ve supported cell structure, the next step is to support the liver and keep bile flowing properly. Bile is produced by the liver and carries certain waste products and compounds processed by the liver into the intestines, where they can be eliminated in the stool. When bile production or flow is impaired, these substances may not be eliminated as efficiently, and some may be reabsorbed through the intestines and returned to circulation.

A supplement like TUDCA (a bile acid) stimulates liver cells to make more bile and thin out thick bile that’s sluggishly moving through the liver.
